The control system of security cameras that the city has implemented a first step in Calle San Martín between Eva Peron and Juan de Garay, be extended by Hipólito Yrigoyen from the footpath to the bus terminal in Santa Fe, located in Belgrano 2910 .

To realize the installation of the service in this way, Santa Fe municipal authorities signed a convention with members of the company Netoc SA, concessionaire of the bus station. The signing of the agreement were the Secretary of Government, July Schneider, and the representative of the company, Hector Seisdedos, among others.

On occasion, Schneider said: "With this new cooperation agreement will be an important step in the system that the city government has installed and has given clear proof of efficacy and effectiveness in preventing crime."

For its part, the attorney for Netoc SA, Hector Seisdedos, said: "By signing the agreement is the culmination of a process of dialogue between the Municipality and the company, a common concern is to improve safety area, the concessionaire of the terminal will deliver a series of elements for the expansion of camera surveillance system. "

Further, Seisdedos commented that "although the station and there is a closed television system to control inside the building, with the implementation of the cameras that are arranged in the area will contribute to enhancing security sector."

Operation

The system operates 365 days a year, 24 hours, with the aim of strengthening coexistence.

The technology used is from Israel and combines cameras, motion sensors, extracting information and a complete software that allows capturing and storing images.

In its first phase, the system was installed in collaboration with the Trade Center and the Association of Friends of Calle San Martin, who took charge of raising money with the support of institutions and businesses in the area.

Once you purchase the equipment, the mall gave him on loan to the City, and formed the space where agents currently working Institutional Security Guards and staff of the Regional Unit I (URI) belonging to 911.

Since its commissioning, the system has detected hundreds of criminal cases-evident or suspected in many preventive action-could also contribute to the Cobem Traffic accidents and violations for verification.
